Clinical Effect of Reduction and Intramedullary Nail Fixation with Rod Support in Treatment of Refractory Intertrochanteric Fracture of Femur
Objective To analyze the clinical effect of reduction and intramedullary nail with rod support in the treatment of refractory intertrochanteric fracture of femur. Methods From August 2020 to August 2022,patients were collected in Nanyang Central Hospital for research.A total of 106 patients with refractory intertrochanteric fracture of femur who were strictly screened according to the exclusion criteria were selected as research objects.According to the random digitization method, they were divided into study group and control group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with open reduction or limited open reduction combined with intramedullary nailing, and the study group was treated with top rod support method. The perioperative situation, fracture reduction quality and postoperative recovery of the two groups were statistically compared. The hip function scores before and 6 months after operation were compared between the two groups. The complication rate of the two groups was compared. Results The operation time and fracture reduction time in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the amount of bleeding was less(P<0.05).The reduction quality of fracture in the study group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The fracture healing,weight-bearing time and hospital stay time of the study group were shorter than those of control group(P<0.05).Six months after surgery, the hip function scores in both groups were higher than those before surgery, and the study group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group[5.66%(3/53)]was lower than that of the control group[(18.87%(10/53)](P<0.05).Conclusion The reduction and fixation of refractory intertrochanteric fracture with intramedullary nail using rod support method can reduce the trauma to the body, reduce the incidence of complications, improve the reduction effect, promote fracture healing and hip functional recovery.
