Application Effect of AIDET Communication Mode in General Surgical Nursing
Objective To explore the application effect of AIDET communication mode in general surgical nursing.Methods A total of 126 patients admitted to the General Surgery Department of the Second People's Hospital of Jiaozuo from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a study group(63 cases)and a control group(63 cases)according to nursing methods.The conventional group received routine nursing intervention,while the research group combined AIDET communication mode on the basis of the conventional group.The postoperative rehabilitation progress,emotional status[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],self-care ability[self-care ability assessment(ESCA)],incidence of complications,and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results After intervention,the study group had shorter first exhaust,defecation,eating,bed activity,and discharge time than the control group.The ESC A scores and total scores were higher than those of the control group,while SAS and SDS scores were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group,and nursing satisfaction was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of AIDET communication mode in general surgical nursing can shorten the postoperative recovery process of patients,improve their emotional state,enhance their self-care ability,reduce the risk of complications,and enhance nursing satisfaction.
