Effect of Salon Activity Based on Rosenthal Effect in Chemotherapy of Breast Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the application effect of salon activity based on Rosenthal effect in patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.Methods A total of 76 patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy in Nanyang Central Hospital from January to June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,with 38 cases in each group.The control group received routine care,on this basis,the observation group received salon activities based on Rosenthal effect.The changes in premonitory sadness,health self-management ability scale(HSMSRS),Piper fatigue score(PFS),functional assessment of cancer therapy(FACT-G),and nursing satisfaction before and after intervention in two groups were observed.Results After intervention,the observation group had lower levels of premonitory sadness than the control group(P<0.05),higher self-management ability than the control group(P<0.05),lower scores of cancer-related fatigue than the control group(P<0.05),higher quality of life than the control group(P<0.05),and higher scores of nursing satisfaction in all dimensions than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The salon activity based on Rosenthal effect is applied to breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy,which helps to improve their psychological status,alleviate premonitory sadness,enhance their self-management ability,reduce cancer-related fatigue,and improve their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
