E-Health Literacy in Young and Middle-aged Patients with Type 2 Diabetes and Its Influencing Factors
Objective To investigate the status of e-health literacy in young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and analyze its influencing factors.Methods From October 2021 to February 2023,231 young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes who were hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the study objects.General data questionnaire,electronic health literacy self-rating scale for diabetes patients and diabetes self-efficacy scale were used for questionnaire investigation.Results The total score of e-health literacy was(90.82±18.74)points and the total score of diabetes self-efficacy was(89.13±19.76)points,which were positively correlated(r=0.473,P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that self-efficacy,the presence of complications,the combination of other chronic diseases,and monthly income were the influential factors of e-health literacy in young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes(P<0.05).Conclusion The e-health literacy of young and middle-aged patients with type 2 diabetes is at the medium level and affected by many factors.Targeted and effective intervention measures can be formulated in clinical nursing to improve the e-health level of patients.
