Correlation Between the Expression of Synaptic Fusion Protein 6 in Gastric Cancer Tissue and Clinical Pathological Features as well as Long-Term Prognosis
Objective To analyze the correlation between the expression of synaptic fusion protein 6(STX6)in gastric cancer tissue and clinical pathological features as well as long-term prognosis. Methods From June 2019 to June 2022,a total of 82 patients with gastric cancer were collected from the Fifth Clinical College of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Zhengzhou People's Hospital). The expression of STX6 was detected by immunohistochemistry, and the correlation between STX6 and clinicopathological features was analyzed byx2test.The patients were followed up to June 2023,and the survival outcomes of all patients with gastric cancer were recorded.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between STX6 expression in gastric cancer tissues and long-term prognosis. Results The positive rate of STX6 expression in gastric cancer tissue was 65.85%,which was higher than 50.00%in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).The expression of STX6 in gastric cancer tissue was not correlated with tumor location, tumor diameter and degree of differentiation(P>0.05),but was related to TNM staging, lymph node metastasis and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER-2)(P<0.05).Log-rank test showed that the total survival time of STX6 positive expression was shorter than that of STX6 negative expression(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the expression of STX6 in gastric cancer tissue was negatively correlated with the overall survival time of patients(r<0,P<0.05).Conclusion STX6 is highly expressed in gastric cancer tissue, and the clinical pathological characteristics and long-term prognosis of gastric cancer patients are related to STX6 expression.
