Effect of Ultrasound Guided Triamcinolone Injection Combined with Microwave Therapy on Shoulder Pain After Stroke
Objective To study the effect of ultrasound guided triamcinolone injection combined with microwave therapy on shoulder pain after stroke. Methods A total of 56 patients with post-stroke shoulder pain in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from October 2020 to August 2021 who met the inclusion criteria were collected and divided into two groups by random number method, with 28 cases in each group.Group A were given routine rehabilitation combined with ultrasound-guided triamcinolone injection treatment.Group B were given routine rehabilitation, ultrasound guided triamcinolone injection and microwave therapy.Visual analogue scale(VAS),upper limb portion of Fugl-Meyer motor assessment function assessment(FMA)and shoulder flexion, abduction, external rotation passive range of motion(PROM)were compared between the two groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment. Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the VAS scores of two groups declined, shoulder flexion PROM,abduction PROM and FMA of two groups were higher than before treatment(P<0.05).The VAS score in group B was lower than group A,and shoulder flexion, abduction PROM and FMA in group B were higher than those in group A(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in external rotation PROM of shoulder between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound-guided triamcinolone injection combined with microwave therapy is more effective in the treatment of post-stroke patients with shoulder pain, and can improve the upper limb function and daily living ability of patients.
