Correlation of Serum Uric Acid,RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2 and Diabetic Retinopathy with Diabetic Kidney Disease
Objective To analyze the correlation between serum uric acid(SUA),serum retinol binding protein 4(RBP4),cystatin C(Cys-C),lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)and diabetic retinopathy(DR)with diabetic kidney disease(DKD).Methods A total of 82 DR patients who were diagnosed and treated in Henan Rongjun Hospital from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected. They were divided into a combined DKD group(21 cases)and an non-combined DKD group(61 cases)based on whether DKD was present or not.The levels of SUA and serum RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2 were compared between the two groups. The correlation between SUA and serum RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2 with DKD in DR patients and their predictive value for DKD in DR patients were analyzed. Results The SUA,RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2 levels in the combined DKD group were higher than those in the non-combined DKD group(P<0.05).According to Spearman analysis,SUA and serum RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2 were positively correlated with DR combined with DKD(r=0.507,0.440,0.402,0.494,P<0.05).The receiver operating characteristic analysis showed that the area under curve of SUA,RBP4,Cys-C,Lp-PLA2,and the combined prediction of DR patients with DKD were 0.835,0.791,0.766,0.827 and 0.913,respectively.The sensitivity and specificity corresponding to the best frontage value were 90.5%and 62.3%for SUA,52.4%and 100.0%for RBP4,52.4%and 100.0%for Cys-C,61.9%and 100.0%for Lp-PLA2,and 85.7%and 88.5%for the combined prediction. Conclusion The levels of SUA and serum RBP4,Cys-C and Lp-PLA2 in DR patients with DKD increase, and are positively correlated with DKD in DR patients. The combination of SUA,RBP4,Cys-C and Lp-PLA2 has high predictive value for DKD in DR patients.
