Discharge Readiness of Knee Replacement Patients and Its Influencing Factors
Objective To analyze the level of discharge readiness of knee replacement patients and its influencing factors.Methods A total of 216 patients who underwent knee replacement in Luoyang Orthopedic Hospital of Henan Province(Orthopedic Hospital of Henan Province)from June to December 2022 were selected as subjects.General information questionnaire,discharge readiness scale(RHDS)and American hospital score for special surgery(HSS)were used to conduct questionnaire survey.Multiple linear regression method was used to analyze the factors affecting discharge readiness of knee replacement patients.Results The total score of RHDS in 216 patients with knee replacement was 23-120(83.42±23.21),the entries were all(6.95±1.93),and the postoperative HSS score was 51-83(71.22±5.65).Multiple regression analysis showed that place of residence,payment method,distance from clinic or hospital,whether to master the health education content related to knee replacement surgery,whether to master the content of health education about pain,relatives and friends with the same disease,body mass index,readiness to return home as planned and primary caregiver were the main influencing factors for discharge readiness of knee replacement patients(P<0.05),accounted for 60.6%of the total variation.Conclusion The discharge readiness of patients with knee replacement need to be further improved.Medical staff should pay attention to the personal status of patients before discharge,social support after discharge,disease-related knowledge and other conditions,establish a multidisciplinary intervention team,formulate and implement personalized discharge guidance,so as to improve the discharge readiness of patients.
