Effect of the Spleen Strengthening,Qi Promotingand Detoxification Method Based on the Concept of Preventing and Treating Existing Diseases on Patients with Advanced Primary Liver Cancer
Objective To study the effects of spleen strengthening,Qi promotingand detoxification method based on the concept of preventing and treating existing diseases on patients with advanced primary liver cancer. Methods Eighty patients with advanced primary liver cancer admitted to Anyang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April 2019 to April 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation. The control group(40 cases)accepted sorafenib combined with radiotherapy, and the observation group(40 cases)accepted spleen strengthening,Qi promotingand detoxification method based on the concept of preventing and treating existing diseases.Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, liver function, tumor marker level, recurrence and metastasis and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the levels of glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT),glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT),total bilirubin(TBil),cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen 21-1(CYFRA21-1),alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)and carbohydrate antigen 199(CA1 99)in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The tumor recurrence and metastasis rate and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score of observation group were lower than that of control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Spleen strengthening,Qi promotingand detoxification method based on the concept of preventing and treating existing diseases in the treatment of middle and advanced primary liver cancer patients, which can reduce traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, improve liver function, reduce tumor marker level and tumor recurrence and metastasis rate, with high safety and clinical promotion value.
