Effect of Shugan Yishen Decoction Combined with Endocrine Therapy in Patients with Hormone Dependent Breast Cancer
Objective To observe the effect of Shugan Yishen decoction combined with endocrine therapy in patients with hormone dependent breast cancer(HDBC).Methods A total of 70 patients with HDBC treated in the hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into western medicine group and combined group,with 35 cases in each group.The western medicine group was treated with endocrine therapy,and the combined group was treated with Shugan Yishen decoction on the basis of the western medicine group.The TCM syndrome scores,immune ability(T-suppressed lymphocytes,T-assisted lymphocytes and T-assisted lymphocytes/T-suppressed lymphocytes),coagulation indexes[fibrinogen(Fib)and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)]and tumor markers[carbohydrate antigen(CA)153 and CA125]and quality of life were compared between the two groups before and 3 months after treatment.Results After treatment,the TCM syndrome scores and the level of T-suppressed lymphocytes in the combined group were lower than those in the western medicine group,and the levels of T helper lymphocytes and T helper lymphocytes/T suppressor lymphocytes in the combined group were higher than those in the western medicine group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of Fib and APTT increased in both groups,but there was no statistical difference between two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of CA153 and CA125 in the combined group were lower than those in the western medicine group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of quality of life in the combined group were higher than those in the western medicine group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Shugan Yishen decoction combined with endocrine therapy can improve the immune ability of patients with HDBC,and improve tumor markers and quality of life.
