Effects of Newman System Nursing Mode Combined with Nutritional Support in Patients with Liver Cancer After Surgery
Objective To explore the effects of Newman system nursing mode combined with nutritional support in patients after liver cancer surgery. Methods A total of 126 cases of liver cancer patients admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(63 cases)and study group(63 cases)by random drawing method. The control group was given routine nursing and nutritional support, while the study group was given Newman system nursing mode and nutritional support.Nutritional status[pre-albumin(PA),albumin(Alb)],negative emotion[Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)],liver function[glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase(GOT),glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT)]and quality of life[quality of life instruments for cancer patients-liver cancer(QLICP-LI)]of patients before and after intervention were compared. Results The serum levels of PA and Alb in the study group were higher than those in the control group after operation(P<0.05).HAMA and HAMD scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group on the 5th day after surgery and at discharge(P<0.05).The serum GOT,GPT and total bilirubin(TBil)levels of the group were lower than those of the control group on day 5 after surgery(P<0.05).The QLICP-LI score of the study group was higher than that of the control group on the 5 th day after surgery and at the time of discharge(P<0.05).Conclusion Newman system nursing mode combined with nutritional support can regulate negative emotions, improve nutritional status and liver function of patients with liver cancer, and improve quality of life.
