Effect of Psychological Nursing Intervention on Emotions of Patients with Chronic Ankle Instability Complicated with Depression
Objective To study the effect of psychological nursing intervention on emotions of patients with chronic ankle instability complicated with depression.Methods A prospective study was conducted on 61 patients with chronic ankle instability combined with depression who were hospitalized from January 2020 to January 2022 in the Department of Orthopaedics of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University,they were rondomly divided into control group(30 cases)and observation group(31 cases).The control group received antidepressants and routine nursing measures,and the observation group received targeted nursing psychological intervention on the basis of the control group.The anxiety and depression status,postoperative pain,rehabilitation effect and ankle function of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)scores of the two groups decreased,and the observation group scores were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After the intervention,the visual analogue scale(VAS)score of the observation group was lower than the control group,and the time taken to get out of bed and staying in hospital were shorter than the control group,and the incidence of ankle swelling was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of the American orthopedic foot and ankle society score(AOFAS)in the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing intervention can relieve anxiety and depression in patients with chronic ankle instability after surgery,reduce the degree of pain,and promote the recovery of patients.
