Effect of Responsible Nursing Under the Theory of Behavioral Change on the Compliance of Desensitization Treatment in Children with Allergic Rhinitis
Objective To explore the impact of responsible nursing based on the theory of behavioral change on the compliance of desensitization treatment in children with allergic rhinitis. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on 87 children with allergic rhinitis who underwent desensitization treatment at Henan Provincial People's Hospital from July 2020 to July 2023.There were 43 children with allergic rhinitis who received responsible nursing were included to control group, and 44 children with allergic rhinitis who received responsibility based care under the theory of behavioral change were included to observation group. The efficacy, treatment compliance[Morisky questionnaire 8-item version(MMAS-8)],and quality of life[rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire(RQLQ)]were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months of nursing, the MMAS-8 score in the control group was lower than that in the observation group(P<0.05),and the RQLQ score of the control group was higher than that of the observation group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of responsibility based nursing under the theory of behavioral transformation in the desensitization treatment of children with allergic rhinitis has a definite effect, which can improve the treatment effect, enhance the treatment compliance and quality of life of children.
