Effect of Behavioral Change Theory Management Model Combined with Improved Prone Position Nursing on Postoperative Pain and Rehabilitation of Patients Undergoing Spinal Surgery
Objective To explore the application value of behavioral change theory management model combined with improved prone position nursing in spinal surgery patients. Methods A total of 85 patients with lumbar 5/sacral 1 disc herniation treated in Luohe Orthopaedic Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into study group(43 cases)and routine group(42 cases)according to different nursing methods. The conventional group was given routine nursing combined with routine prone position nursing, and the study group was given behavioral change theory management model combined with improved prone position nursing. The lumbar function[oswestry dysfunction index(ODI)],lumbar motion, pain score[visual analogue scale(VAS)],self-management behavior, complication rate, and quality of life[generic quality of life inventory 74(GQOL-74)].Results After intervention, the scores of self-management ability scale,GQOL-74 scores were higher than those of the conventional group, and the ODI of the study group was lower than that of the conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention, the flexion, rotation and lateral flexion of the study group were higher than those of the conventional group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the conventional group on the day of discharge and 1 month after intervention(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of complications between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Behavioral change theory management model combined with improved prone position nursing can alleviate postoperative pain, improve self-management ability, promote the rehabilitation of lumbar function and improve the quality of life of spinal surgery patients.
