Effect of Action-Oriented Education on Cardiac Function and Health Behavior in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective To explore the value of action-oriented evangelism in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods Eighty-six cases of chronic heart failure patients were selected from November 2021 to November 2022 in Henan Provincial Chest Hospital, and were divided into the missionary group and the control group by the method of randomized numerical table, each with 43 cases. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the missionary group received action-oriented missionary education based on the control group, and the intervention was continued for 5 months. The disease awareness and adherence[Morisky medication adherence scale(MMAS-8)],cardiac function[left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),6 minutes walking test(6MWT)],psychological status[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],health behaviors[health promotion lifestyle profile(HPLP-Ⅱ)]and quality of life[Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire(MLHFQ)]were counted in both groups before and after the intervention. Results The cognitive excellence rate in education group(97.67%)was higher than that in control group(81.40%)(P<0.05).The compliance rate of education group(100.00%)was higher than that of control group(86.05%)(P<0.05).After intervention,LVEF and 6MWT in education group were higher than those in control group,LVEDD and LVESD were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The scores of SAS,SDS and MLHFQ in education group were lower than those in control group, and the scores of HPLP-Ⅱ were higher than those in the control group after intervention(P<0.05).Conclusion Action-oriented education can improve patients'compliance, improve their heart function and quality of life.
