Premature Death of Major Chronic Diseases Among Registered Residents in a Place of Henan Province from 2017 to 2022
Objective To understand and master the death status of registered residents and death of major chronic diseases in a certain place in Henan Province,so as to provide scientific basis for the optimization of local health strategies.Methods The death data of registered residents from 2017 to 2022 were used to analyze the proportion of major chronic diseases,crude mortality,early death probability of four major types of chronic diseases(malignant tumors,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,diabetes,chronic respiratory diseases)and the expected life expectancy after eliminate the cause of death.Results A total of 18 543 registered residence registered deaths were reported in the county from 2017 to 2022,including 14 220 cases of four major chronic diseases,with a crude mortality rate of 455.76/100 000,accounting for 76.69%of the total deaths.The probability of premature death for the four main chronic diseases was 14.67%,with a probability of 19.12%for males and 9.99%for females by gender.The probability of premature death for males was higher than that for females.After removing the four main causes of death from chronic diseases,the life expectancy of registered residents increased by 7.03 years,including 7.62 years for men,and 5.97 years for female.Conclusion The main chronic diseases in the region have become the main cause of death for residents and an important factor affecting life expectancy.It is necessary to further strengthen comprehensive prevention and control measures for chronic diseases and reduce the impact of the four major chronic diseases on death levels and life expectancy.
