Status Quo of Prevention and Treatment and Influencing Factors of Diabetes Among Residents Aged 35 Years and Above in Henan Province
Objective To examine the situation in the prevalence,treatment and control of diabetes among residents aged 35 years and above in Henan Province,and to analyze the influencing factors of blood glucose control and provide the support and scientific basis for prevention and treatment of diabetes in Henan.Methods The data were from the health service survey data of Henan Province in 2013 and 2018,the trend of diabetes prevention and control related indicators and the influencing factors of blood glucose control were analyzed.Results The prevalence,treatment and control rates of diabetes among residents aged 35 years and above in Henan Province in 2018 were 8.23％,73.88％and 36.13％.Compared with 2013,the prevalence of diabetes had increased,and the treatment and control rates had decreased(P＜0.05).The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that self-rated health(Common:OR=0.689,95％CI 0.533-0.890.Excellent:OR=0.628,95％CI 0.430-0.918)and taking part in physical exercise(OR=0.710,95％CI:0.564-0.895)were positive factors for the rate of diabetes control(P＜0.05).Rural areas(OR=1.311,95％CI:1.041-1.652),overweight(OR=1.282,95％CI:1.013-1.623),fat(OR=1.462,95％CI:1.086-1.967)and anxiety or depression(OR=1.494,95％CI:1.089-2.050)were the risk factors of diabetes control rate(P＜0.05).Conclusion The prevalence of diabetes in Henan Province in 2018 is still at a high level,and the effect of diabetes prevention and control is not obvious.It is urgently necessary to take comprehensive interventions on rural areas,overweight,obesity,anxiety or depression and lack of physical exercise for prevention and control of diabetes.
