Fear of Recurrence After Multiple Uterine Fibroids Surgery and Its Correlation with Psychological Resilience and Social Support
Objective To investigate the current situation of recurrent fear after multiple uterine fibroids surgery, and to analyze its correlation with psychological resilience and social support. Methods A retrospective study was conducted on the clinical data of 90 patients with multiple uterine fibroids who underwent surgical treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to January 2023,the fear of progression questionnaire-short form(FoP-Q-SF),connor-davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)and social support rating scale(SSRS)were used to evaluate postoperative fear of recurrence, mental resilience and social support.Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation between FoP-Q-SF scores and CD-RISC and SSRS scores.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence fear. Results The FoP-Q-SF score,CD-RISC score and SSRS score were(32.72±3.34),(60.74±7.58)and(41.58±4.75)points respectively in 90 patients with multiple uterine fibroids.Postoperative FoP-Q-SF scores of patients with different age, education level and family resilience assessment scale-chinese version(FRAS-C)were significantly different(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age<35 years old and FRAS-C score<80 points were influential factors for recurrence fear in patients with multiple uterine fibroids after surgery(P<0.05).FoP-Q-SF scores were negatively correlated with CD-RISC and SSRS scores in patients with multiple uterine fibroids(P<0.05).Conclusion The recurrence fear of patients with multiple uterine fibroids is mainly related to age, family toughness, psychological resilience and social support.Targeted measures should be taken to eliminate the recurrence fear of patients and promote their physical and mental health development.
