Effect of Carbon Dioxide Dot Matrix Laser Combined with Betamethasone Local Injection in the Treatment of Non-segental Vitiligo
Objective To study the effect of carbon dioxide(CO2)dot matrix laser combined with betamethasone local injection in the treatment of non-segment vitiligo and the expression of interleukin-33(IL-33)and soluble suppression of tumorigenicity 2(sST2)in peripheral blood. Methods Seventy-eight patients with non-segmental vitiligo treated in Zhengzhou Central Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 39 cases in each group. The control group was treated with local injection of betamethasone, and the observation group was treated with CO2 dot matrix laser combined with local injection of betamethasone. The clinical efficacy, lesion distribution score, psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)score, dermatological quality of life index(DLQI)score, serum immunoglobulin levels(IGA,IgG,IgM),peripheral blood interleukin-17(IL-17),IL-33,sST2,intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)levels and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group(89.74%)was higher than that of the control group(71.79%)(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, the lesion distribution,PASI and DLQI scores, the levels of serum IgA,IgG and IgM and IL-17,IL-33,sST2 and ICAM-1 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group(28.21%)and the control group(17.95%)(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of CO2 dot matrix laser and betamethasone injection can significantly improve the curative effect, reduce the degree of inflammation, promote the recovery of immune function and improve the state of skin lesions.
