Research on the Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Humanistic Care of Outpatient Nurses in Tertiary General Hospitals
Objective To investigate the current situation of humanistic care in outpatient nurses of tertiary general hospitals and analyze its influencing factors.Methods A convenience sampling method was used to select 226 outpatient nurses from three tertiary general hospitals in certain areas of Henan Province from February to March 2021.The general information survey form,nurse humanistic care scale,emotional intelligence scale,and nurse professional identity scale were used to investigate and analyze the influencing factors.Results The average score of humanistic care for the 226 outpatient nurses in the three tertiary general hospitals was(113.23±15.14)points,the average score of emotional intelligence was(117.97±11.79)points,and the average score of professional identity was(106.49±21.65)points.The total score and each dimension of humanistic care of outpatient nurses were positively correlated with the total score and each dimension of emotional intelligence and professional identity(P<0.01).Emotional intelligence,professional identity,and job title were the main influencing factors of humanistic care(P<0.01),accounting for 40.3%of the total variation.Conclusion The overall level of humanistic care provided by outpatient nurses in comprehensive hospitals is at a medium level,and emotional intelligence,professional identity,and job title are the main factors affecting the level of humanistic care provided by outpatient nurses in comprehensive hospitals.Nursing managers should pay attention to the level of humanistic care provided by outpatient nurses and develop targeted training plans to improve the level of humanistic care provided by the outpatient nurse group.
