Effect of Auricular Point Pressing Combined with Acupoint Application Nursing on Patients with Cancer Pain
Objective To explore the effect of auricular point pressing combined with acupoint application nursing on patients with cancer pain.Methods A total of 80 patients of advanced cancer pain admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2020 to March 2022 were divided into two groups according to the numerical table method,among which 40 patients were set as the test group,the patients received ear acupoint pressure bean combined with acupoint application care,and the other 40 patients were set as the reference group and given routine care.Pain grade,negative mood improvement,and quality of life before and after care were compared between the two groups.Results After nursing,the number of mild cancer pain and no cancer pain in the test group was higher than that in the reference group,and the number of moderate cancer pain was lower than the reference group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The SAS and SDS scores were lower than the reference group(P＜0.05).The physical pain,role limitation,emotional factors,life vitality,mental health,social ability,activity and overall health scores were higher than the reference group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The intervention of patients with advanced cancer pain can relieve the pain and improve the quality of life.
