Effect of Protective Motivation Theory Combined with Co-decision Risk Management Nursing Program in Elderly Patients Undergoing Hip Fracture Surgery
Objective To explore the effect of protective motivation theory combined with co-decision risk management nursing program in elderly patients with hip fracture surgery. Methods A total of 104 elderly patients with hip fracture treated in People's Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into study group and control group by random number table method, with 52 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the research group was given protective motivation theory combined with joint decision risk management nursing program on the basis of the control group. Both groups were intervened until the patients were discharged from hospital.Preoperative acceptance and post-intervention mental state[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS)],self-efficacy[self-efficacy scale(GSES)],self-care ability[self-care ability scale(ESCA)],compliance, rehabilitation process were compared between the two groups. Results The first exhaust, eating, getting out of bed,and discharge time of the research group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The acceptance of surgery in the research group on the day before surgery was higher than that of the control group, and the SAS and SDS scores after intervention were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the GSES and ESCA scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total compliance of the research group was higher than that of the control group. Conclusion The protective motivation theory combined with the risk management nursing plan of joint decision can improve the surgical acceptance of elderly patients with hip fracture surgery, reduce the negative emotions of patients, enhance the self-efficacy of patients, improve the self-care ability and compliance of patients, and promote the improvement of patients'condition.
