Effects of Screening Scheme Based on Persuasive Technology in the Screening for Patients'Family Members with Colorectal Cancer
Objective To explore the effects of screening scheme on patients'family members with colorectal cancer based on Fogg behavior model(FBM).Methods A total of 189 patients'family members with colorectal cancer from September 2022 to March 2023 were selected.A screening scheme based on the FBM model and behavioral transformation theory was used for colorectal cancer screening and health education. The"High Risk Assessment Questionnaire for Colorectal Cancer"was applied for risk assessment, and the"Colorectal Cancer Screening Questionnaire for Family Members of Colorectal Cancer Patients"was used to collect information, and follow-up was conducted for 2 months after the survey to understand the screening methods and results chosen by the family members. Results Of the patients'family members,57.67%(109/189)were first-degree relatives, with 89 males(47.09%)and an average age of(44.02±12.03)years,62.43%(118/189)of family members chose to undergo intestinal related screening, higher than before the intervention(15.87%),which had statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The colonoscopy screening rate is 49.21%(93/189),and for high-risk family members, the colonoscopy screening rate was 71.56%(78/109),63.56%(75/118)of family members had tested positive,70.97%(66/93)of family members were examined positive by colonoscopy. Conclusion The screening scheme based on the FBM model can improve the awareness of colorectal cancer patients'family members towards colorectal cancer screening and the participation rate in colonoscopy screening, and further improve their own health management.
