Effect of Positive Psychological Intervention Based on PERMA Model in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Objective To investigate the effects of positive psychological intervention based on the Seligman model(PERMA)on patients with coronary heart disease undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 120 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups:control group and intervention group, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received standard nursing care, while the intervention group received additional PERMA-based psychological intervention.Differences in negative emotions, coping strategies, and quality of life between the two groups were compared. Results The intervention group showed significantly lower scores in self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)compared to the control group(P<0.05),indicating a significant improvement in negative emotions.Additionally, the intervention group had higher positive coping scores and lower negative coping scores than the control group(P<0.05).In terms of quality of life, the intervention group scored significantly higher compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Positive psychological intervention based on the PERMA model can effectively reduce negative emotions, enhance positive coping abilities, and significantly improve the quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease undergoing PCI.
