Objective To analyze the effects of explanation-simulation-exercise-communication-support(ESPCS)nursing model on health knowledge recognition,mental state and quality of life in infertility patients undergoing test tube baby.Methods A total of 102 infertility patients who underwent test tube baby treatment in Zhengzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as research objects,and grouped by random number table method.Fifty-one cases in the conventional group were given routine nursing,and 51 cases in the experimental group were given ESPCS nursing mode.The cognition of health knowledge,mental state and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results The scores of infertility knowledge,complication knowledge,egg retrieval knowledge,embryo transplantation knowledge and ovulation promotion treatment knowledge in experimental group were higher than those in conventional group(P＜0.05).The scores of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)and Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)in experimental group were lower than those in conventional group(P＜0.05).The scores of social dimension,environmental dimension,physiological dimension and psychological dimension in experimental group were higher than those in conventional group(P＜0.05).Conclusion ESPCS nursing model can effectively improve the poor mental state of infertility patients undergoing test tube baby,improve health knowledge awareness and quality of life.
