Impact of Psychological Trauma on the Rehabilitation of ICU Cancer Patients
Objective To investigate the effect of psychological trauma on the prognosis of ICU cancer patients. Methods From January to December 2022,ICU patients in a tertiary cancer hospital in northern Henan were selected as the research subjects, and the psychological status of the patients was evaluated by the event impact scale, and the patients were divided into psychological trauma group(193 cases)and no psychological trauma group(107 cases)according to whether psychological trauma occurred, and the ICU length of stay, complication rate,48-hour return to ICU and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups, and the impact of psychological trauma on the prognosis of ICU cancer patients was analyzed. Results Among the 300 ICU cancer patients,193 had psychological trauma, with an incidence rate of 64.33%.The score of psychological trauma in the study group was(45.31±11.49),which was higher than that in the control group(28.66±3.13),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The duration of ICU monitoring, complication rate,48-hour return to ICU and low satisfaction in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Pearson analysis showed that psychological trauma was positively correlated with ICU monitoring time, complication rate and 48-hour return to ICU,and negatively correlated with patient satisfaction(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a certain correlation between psychological trauma and prognosis in ICU cancer patients, and ICU medical workers should intervene from different influencing factors to reduce patients'psychological trauma, promote patients'recovery, and improve patients'quality of life.
