Prognostic Value of D-dimer/Fibrinogen in Patients with Vascular Dementia
Objective To analyze the prognostic value of D-dimer/fibrinogen in patients with vascular dementia. Methods A total of 100 patients with vascular dementia who were planned to be treated with donepezil hydrochloride tablets at Henan General Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.According to the therapeutic effect, the patients were divided into effective group and ineffective group. The clinical data of the two groups were compared.Spearman correlation test was used to test the relationship between D-dimer and fibrinogen. The relationship between D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio and clinical prognosis of patients with vascular dementia was tested by point two column correlation. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to evaluate the value of D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio in evaluating the therapeutic effect. Results After 3 months of treatment,10 cases showed significant improvement and 43 cases were effective, they were included in the effective group, accounting for 53.00%(53/100).The other 47 cases were ineffective and included in the ineffective group, accounting for 47.00%(47/100).There was statistical difference between the two groups of patients in terms of D-dimer,fibrinogen,D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio, post treatment activities of daily living(ADL)score, and post treatment mini-mental state examination(MMSE)score(P<0.05).Spearman correlation test showed a positive correlation between D-dimer and fibrinogen(r=0.477,P<0.001).The point two column correlation test showed a positive correlation between D-dimer,fibrinogen,and D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio and treatment efficacy(r>0,P<0.05).The ROC curve showed that D-dimer,fibrinogen and D-dimer/fibrinogen had good evaluation value for the prognosis of patients with vascular dementia, and the AUC was 0.878,0.879 and 0.899,respectively.Conclusion D-dimer/fibrinogen has a good evaluation value for the prognosis of patients with vascular dementia.
