Relationship Between Serum CA724,CA153,SCC and Pathological Characteristics,Postoperative Recurrence and Metastasis in Patients with Lung Cancer
Objective To explore the relationship between serum carbohydrate antigen 724(CA724),carbohydrate antigen 153(CA153),squamous cell carcinoma antigen(SCC)and pathological characteristics, postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients with lung cancer(LC).Methods A total of 102 patients with LC undergoing surgical treatment in Zhoukou Central Hospital were enrolled from June 2019 to December 2020.According to presence or absence of recurrence and metastasis at 2 years after surgery, they were divided into recurrence-metastasis group and non-recurrence-metastasis group, the levels of serum CA724,CA153 and SCC,and pathological characteristics in the two groups were compared. The influencing factors of postoperative recurrence and metastasis were analyzed. Results After follow-up,65 out of 102 patients experienced recurrence and metastasis, accounting for 63.73%.The levels of CA724,CA153 and SCC in recurrence-metastasis group were higher than those in non-recurrence-metastasis group(P<0.05).CA724 level in adenocarcinoma group was higher than those in small cell lung cancer group and squamous cell carcinoma group(P<0.05),but there was no statistical difference in CA153 level among the three groups(P>0.05).SCC level in squamous cell carcinoma group was higher than those in small cell lung cancer group and adenocarcinoma group(P<0.05).The levels of CA724,CA153 and SCC in patients at stages Ⅱ and Ⅲ were higher than those at stage Ⅰ(P<0.05).There were statistical differences in TNM staging and differentiation degree between recurrence-metastasis group and non-recurrence-metastasis group(P<0.05).The results of Cox univariate regression analysis showed that TNM staging, high levels of CA724,CA153 and SCC,and differentiation degree were influencing factors of postoperative recurrence and metastasis in LC patients(P<0.05).The results of multivariate regression analysis showed that TNM staging at stage Ⅲ,and high levels of CA724,CA153 and SCC were independent risk factors of postoperative recurrence and metastasis. Conclusion The expression levels of serum CA724,CA153 and SCC are closely related to pathological characteristics and postoperative recurrence and metastasis in LC patients.Clinically, levels of serum CA724,CA153 and SCC can be applied to evaluate postoperative recurrence and metastasis.
