Therapeutic Effect of Gegen Decoction Combined with Acupoint Injection of Adenosine Cobaltamide on Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Gegen decoction combined with acupoint injection of adenosine cobaltamide in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR).Methods According to the random number table method,76 CSR patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2020 to December 2022 were divided into control group(38 cases, routine treatment and adenosine cobaltamide acupoint injection treatment)and observation group(38 cases, routine treatment, adenosine cobaltamide acupoint injection treatment and Gegen decoction with symptom addition and subtraction treatment). Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The clinical efficacy, cervical spine function and inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups, and the occurrence of adverse reactions in the two groups was counted. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 2 weeks of treatment, the observation group had lower neck dysfunction index(NDI)scores and levels of inflammatory factors compared to the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of symptomatic modification of Gegen decoction and acupoint injection of adenosine cobaltamide can improve the therapeutic effect of CSR patients, improve cervical spine function, reduce serum IL-6,TNF-αand IL-1 β levels, and will not increase adverse reactions.
