Influence of Family Participation Model on the Care Ability of Elderly Primiparous's Spouse
Objective To explore the influence of family participatory care model on spouse care ability of elderly primiparous.Methods A total of 100 spouses of elderly primiparous who were hospitalized in the first and second wards of obstetrics in Shangqiu First People's Hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into control group and intervention group.The study was conducted over a period of six weeks,from the time of admission to the end of the puerperal period.The spouses of the elderly primiparous in the control group received routine care,and the intervention group applied the family participatory care model on the basis of the control group.The scores of nursing knowledge,self-efficacy and nursing satisfaction between the two groups were compared.Results Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the scores of nursing knowledge of elderly primiparous and infant care(P＞0.05).After intervention,the scores of maternal care knowledge,infant care knowledge and total scores in the questionnaire of maternal spousal care knowledge between the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the self-efficacy scores of the two groups(P＞0.05).After intervention,the spousal self-efficacy scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and the intervention group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After the intervention of the spouses of the two groups of elderly primiparous,their satisfaction was significantly increased,and the satisfaction of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of the family participatory care model to the spouses of elderly primiparous can improve the knowledge level of postpartum care of elderly primiparous and infants,and improve the self-efficacy and nursing satisfaction of the spouses of elderly primiparous,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
