Application of Narrative Nursing Combined with Early Proactive Intervention in Patients with Myasthenia Gravis
Objective To explore the application effect of narrative nursing combined with early proactive intervention in patients with myasthenia gravis(MG).Methods A total of 98 MG patients admitted to the Xuchang Peoples Hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups(49 patients in each group)by random number table method. The control group was given early proactive intervention, while the observation group was given narrative nursing on the basis of the control group. Both groups intervened until the patient was discharged. The improvement of symptoms[quantitative score of myasthenia gravis(QMG)],psychological status[self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)]and quality of life[myasthenia gravis-quality of life-15(MG-QOL-15)]were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results At discharge, the QMG scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).At discharge, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).At discharge, the MG-QOL-15 scores of both groups increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Narrative nursing combined with early proactive intervention can promote the reduction of muscle weakness symptoms in MG patients, improve their psychological status, and improve their quality of life.
