Expression and Significance of LncRNA BCAR4 in Elderly Patients with Breast Cancer
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of LncRNA BCAR4 in senile breast cancer.Methods From January 2016 to February 2021,60 fresh frozen specimens of elderly patients with breast cancer were collected,including cancer tissue and paracancer tissue.Real-time quantitative gene amplification fluorescence detection system was used to detect LncRNA BCAR4 expression in breast cancer tissues and adjacent tissues,and to further analyze the relationship between LncRNA BCAR4 expression and clinicopathology in elderly breast cancer tissues.LncRNA BCAR4 expression with tumor thrombus invasion and sentinel lymph node metastasis was analyzed.Results LncRNA BCAR4 expression in breast cancer tissue was higher than that in paracancer tissue(P＜0.05).LncRNA BCAR4 expression in senile breast cancer tissues was correlated with tumor size,sentinel lymph node metastasis,tumor vascular thrombus invasion(P＜0.05),but not with age,clinical stage,estrogen receptor status,progesterone receptor status,Ki-67 level,and tissue grade(P＞0.05).LncRNA BCAR4 expression was correlated with tumor thrombus invasion and sentinel lymph node metastasis(r=0.354,0.400,P＜0.001).Conclusion LncRNA BCAR4 is highly expressed in elderly breast cancer tissues,and has a certain correlation with tumor thrombus invasion and sentinel lymph node metastasis.
