Effect of Chubi Decoction Fumigation in the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis of Cold-Dampness Obstruction Type
Objective To explore the effect of Chubi decoction fumigation in treating rheumatoid arthritis of cold-dampness obstruction type.Methods According to the simple randomization method,a total of 102 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in department of orthopaedics of Luoyang Hospital of TCM from December 2020 to December 2022 were divided into control group(51 cases)and experimental group(51 cases).The control group carried out conventional western medicine therapy,while the experimental group was treated with conventional western medicine therapy+Chubi decoction fumigation.TCM syndromes scores,inflammatory indicators,effective rate of treatment,disease activity score in 28 joints(DAS28),and health assessment questionnaire(HAQ)in the two groups were analyzed and compared before treatment and after 12 weeks of treatment.Results The scores of TCM syndromes and levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),rheumatoid factor(RF)and C-reactive protein(CRP)after 12 weeks of treatment were lower in experimental group than those in control group(P＜0.05).The effective rate of treatment in experimental group with 96.08％was higher compared with 82.35％in control group(P＜0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment,the DAS28 score and HAQ score after 12 weeks of treatment in experimental group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Chubi decoction fumigation can relieve the syndromes and inflammatory response,enhance the effective rate of treatment,and promote the health status,and it has clinical significance.
