Effect of Graded Stage Intervention Combined with Intensive Nutritional Support on Rehabilitation of Gastric Ulcer Complicated with Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding
Objective To explore the effect of graded stage intervention combined with intensive nutritional support on the rehabilitation of patients with gastric ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted to include 82 patients with gastric ulcer complicated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding diagnosed in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from July 2020 to July 2022.The patients were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. All patients received graded and phased nursing interventions, while the control group received routine nutritional support on this basis, while the observation group received enhanced nutritional support.Nursing implementation continued until the patient was discharged. The clinical indexes of the two groups were observed, including hemostasis time, bowel sound recovery time and hospitalization time. Before and after nursing, two groups of patients were tested for nutritional indicators, including hemoglobin(HB),albumin(ALB),and total serum protein(TP).After nursing,a self-made nursing satisfaction survey questionnaire was used to evaluate the nursing satisfaction of two groups of patients. Results Both groups of patients successfully completed the study without any withdrawal cases. The observation group had shorter hemostasis time, bowel sound recovery time, and hospitalization time compared to the control group, with statistical significant differences between the groups(P<0.05).Before nursing, there was no statistical significant difference in the levels of HB,ALB,and TP between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).After nursing, the levels of HB,ALB,and TP in both groups of patients increased, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of nursing care in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, with a statistical significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Graded and phased intervention combined with nutritional support can shorten the hemostasis time of patients with gastric ulcer and upper gastrointestinal bleeding, improve their nutritional level, make them better and faster to recover, and patients have high satisfaction with nursing.
