Application Effects of Benson Relaxation Technique Nursing Combined with Rapid Rehabilitation Nursing on Thyroid Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the application effect of Benson relaxation technique nursing combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing on thyroid cancer patients.Methods A total of 94 patients with thyroid cancer who were to undergo total thyroidectomy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects,and were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method,with 47 cases.The control group was given rapid rehabilitation nursing,and the experimental group was given Benson relaxation technique nursing combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing.The exercise of self-care agency scale(ESC A)score before and after perioperative care and the rate of complications after care,quality of life scale(GQOL-74)score,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)score,time to get out of bed,hospital stay,recovery time and visual analogue score(VAS)score were compared between the two groups.Results There was no difference in ESCA scores between the two groups before nursing(P＞0.05).The ESCA scores of the two groups after 3 weeks of operation were higher than those before nursing,and the ESCA score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The difference of complications after nursing between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications after nursing in the experimental group(6.38％)was lower than that in the control group(19.15％)(P＜0.05).Compared with the control group,the GQOL-74 score of the experimental group was higher(P＜0.05),the PSQI score was lower(P＜0.05),time to get out of bed,hospital stay,recovery time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group(P＜0.05),and the VAS score was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of Benson relaxation technique nursing combined with rapid rehabilitation nursing in perioperative care of thyroid cancer is conducive to improving the ability of self-care and the quality of life of patients,reducing the incidence of complications,promoting recovery and relieving pain,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
