Application of FTS Integrated Nursing Model in Perioperative Period of Artificial Hip Replacement in Elderly Patients with Femoral Neck Fracture
Objective To establish an integrated medical and nursing model of fast-track surgery(FTS)and to explore the effect of its application in the perioperative period of artificial hip replacement(THA)in elderly patients with femoral neck fracture. Methods A total of 80 elderly patients with femoral neck fracture who underwent THA in the Second People's Hospital of Henan Province from February 1,2019 to July 1,2022 were selected and divided into FTS group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases)according to random number table method. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the FTS group received targeted intervention based on the integrated medical care model of FTS.Recovery effects(time to get out of bed, duration of pain, length of hospital stay),quality of life, hip function[Harris hip joint function scale(Harris)],and complication rate(pressure sores, lower limb edema, incision infection)were compared between the two groups. Results At 10 days postoperatively, the visual analogue scale(VAS)scores of FTS group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05),the Harris and activity of daily living(ADL)scores in FTS group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in FTS group was 0.03%,which was lower than that in control group by 0.20%(P<0.05).The activity of getting out of bed, pain disappearance and hospital stay in FTS group were shorter than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of FTS integrated nursing mode in the perioperative THA of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture can alleviate postoperative pain, reduce complications, promote hip function recovery and improve quality of life.
