Evaluation Effect of Colon Cancer Using Dynamic Enhanced CT Scanning Combined with Texture Analysis
Objective To analyze the evaluation value of dynamic enhanced CT scanning combined with texture analysis for colon cancer. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 93 highly suspected colon cancer patients admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to December 2023.All patients underwent dynamic enhanced CT scanning and texture analysis after admission, with colonoscopy biopsy results as the gold standard. The evaluation value of CT dynamic enhanced scanning combined with texture analysis for colon cancer was analyzed. Results Among the 93 highly suspected patients with colon cancer,69 cases were confirmed by colonoscopy biopsy, accounting for 74.19%.The remaining 24 cases were all ulcerative colitis, accounting for 25.81%.Colon cancer patients had higher venous phase P90,venous phase entropy, and delayed phase variance than non colon cancer patients(P<0.05).The area under curve of texture analysis parameters for evaluating colon cancer was greater than 0.7.The optimal cutoff values for venous phase P90,venous phase entropy, and delayed phase variance were 82.940,2.820 and 2.845,respectively.Ideal sensitivity and specificity could be obtained. The results of dynamic enhanced CT scan and texture analysis were generally consistent with the results of colonoscopy biopsy(Kappa values were 0.565 and 0.585,P<0.001),while the results of combined scan and colonoscopy biopsy were better consistent(Kappa=0.801,P<0.001).The sensitivity, accuracy, and negative predictive values of joint evaluation were higher than those of CT dynamic enhanced scanning and texture analysis(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of dynamic enhanced CT scanning and texture analysis in evaluating colon cancer has good consistency with colonoscopy biopsy, which can improve the evaluation value of colon cancer.
