Effects of Stage Ⅳ Early Rehabilitation Exercise in Patients with Severe Pneumonia Post-ICU Syndrome
Objective To observe the effect of stage Ⅳ early rehabilitation exercise in patients with severe pneumonia post-intensive care unit(ICU)syndrome. Methods All 98 patients with severe pneumonia post-ICU syndrome admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from April 2019 to June 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The routine nursing group received routine nursing, the early rehabilitation exercise group received stage Ⅳ early rehabilitation exercise intervention on the basis of routine nursing.Lung function, mental elasticity, muscle strength, fatigue, and ability to perform activities of daily living before the intervention, after 5 days of discharge from the ICU and before 1 day of discharge from the hospital were compared between the two groups. Results After 5 days of discharge from the ICU and before 1 day of discharge from the hospital, forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second/FVC(FEV1/FVC),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)in early rehabilitation exercise group were higher than those in routine nursing group(P<0.05).Tenacity score,self-strengthening score, optimism score, muscle strength score and activity of daily living scale score in early rehabilitation exercise group were higher than those in routine nursing group, the fatigue degree score was lower than that in routine nursing group(P<0.05).Conclusion Stage Ⅳ early rehabilitation exercise can improve lung function, reduces body fatigue, enhances muscle strength and daily vital capacity in patients with severe pneumonia evere pneumonia post-ICU syndrome.
