Current Research Ethics Literacy Among Clinicians in Four Specialists in Henan Province
Objective To compare the differences in the knowledge,attitude and compliance of research ethics among clinicians in 4 specialties,explore the correlation between the level of ethical knowledge and ethical compliance,and provide suggestions for improving the ethical literacy of clinicians.Methods The baseline data were statistically described by SPSS 26.0 statistical software through cluster sampling and questionnaire survey.The Chi-square test was used to compare the differences in the level of ethical knowledge and the attitude of research ethics among clinicians in different specialties.Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to analyze the correlation between the average awareness rate of ethical knowledge and the compliance rate of scientific research ethics in 4 specialties.Results A total of 260 clinicians were surveyed.It consisted of 4 specialties:Obstetrics and Gynecology(59 cases),Pediatrics(71 cases),Hepatobiliary Surgery(74 cases),and Cardiology(56 cases).The ethical knowledge level of hepatobiliary surgery was higher than that of other specialties.In the attitude towards scientific research ethics,the vast majority of clinicians in the four specialties held a positive attitude.In terms of the compliance of research ethics,the correlation coefficient between the average awareness rate of clinical doctors'ethical knowledge and the compliance rate of research ethics in 4 specialties r=0.964,P=0.036.Regression analysis showed that regression coefficient b=0.709,P=0.036.Conclusion There are differences in the cognition of scientific research ethics among different specialties and articles.The clinicians of each specialty have a positive attitude towards scientific research ethics.The knowledge level of scientific research ethics is positively correlated with the ethical compliance.
