Effect of Bushen Huoxue Formula in Maintenance Dialysis Patients
Objective To study the effects of Bushen Huoxue Formula in maintenance dialysis patients.Methods From March 2021 to March 2023,a total of 80 patients received maintenance dialysis treatment in the Department of Nephrology of Luoyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were prospectively selected as the research objects.According to the random number table,they were divided into two groups,40 patients in each group.The control group received routine treatment,while the observation group received Bushen Huoxue Formula on the basis of the control group.All patients were treated for 3 months.The mineral bone metabolism[alkaline phosphatase(ALP),blood calcium,blood phosphorus and bone density],renal function[blood urea(BUN),blood creatinine(SCr)],serum inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and the ratio of neutrophils to lymphocytes(NLR)]of the two groups were compared,and the incidence of drug-related adverse reactions during treatment was recorded.Results After treatment,the levels of ALP,phosphorus and bone density in both groups decreased compared to before treatment,while the levels of calcium increased compared to before treatment,and the levels of ALP and phosphorus in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,while the levels of calcium and bone density were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the concentrations of SCr and BUN and the levels of various inflammatory indicators in both groups decreased compared to before treatment,and the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).No drug-related adverse reactions were observed during the treatment period in both groups.Conclusion On the basis of routine treatment,supplementing Bushen Huoxue Formula for maintenance dialysis patients is more conducive to reducing the risk of osteoporosis,having a good impact on the inflammatory response of patients,promoting renal function improvement,and not increasing the safety risk of drug use.The medication plan is safe and reliable.
