Influence of Nursing Management Program Based on Planned Behavior Theory on Patients with Total Hip Arthroplasty
Objective To explore the influence of nursing management program based on planned behavior theory on postoperative pain catastrophizing cognition and quality of life in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty(THA).Methods THA patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects.According to the nursing management plan,52 THA patients were included in the control group for routine care, and 48 THA patients were included in the observation group for the implementation of the planned behavior theory nursing management plan. The pain catastrophizing cognition degree[pain catastrophizing scale(PCS)]and quality of life[generic quality of life inventory-74(GQOLI-74)]were compared between two groups.Follow up for one month, hip joint function[Harris hip joint function scale(HHS)],daily living ability[self-care ability assessment scale(ESCA)],gait indicators, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After 7 days of intervention, the PCS scores of both groups decreased compared to before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05),the GQOLI-74 scores of both groups increased compared to before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After one month of intervention, the HHS scores and ESCA scores of the two groups of patients were all higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After one month of intervention, the gait indicators of both groups increased compared to 15 days after intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Within one month of intervention, the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing management program based on planned behavior theory can help THA patients eliminate catastrophic thinking, improve quality of life, enhance daily living ability and hip function, and reduce the risk of complications.
