Application Value of Bio-Psycho-Social Medicine Model Nursing During Chemotherapy in Patients with Advanced Colon Cancer
Objective To observe the application value of bio-psycho-social medicine model nursing on patients with advanced colon cancer during chemotherapy.Methods A total of 110 patients with advanced colon cancer who received chemotherapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from July 2020 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into conventional group(received conventional nursing intervention)and observation group(received bio-psycho-social medicine model nursing intervention and conventional nursing)according to the random number method,with 55 cases in each group.The intervention effects between two groups were compared.Results After nursing intervention,the scores of symptom check-list 90 scale in both groups were decreased,and the scores in observation group were lower than those in conventional group(P<0.05).The scores of the self acceptance questionnaire were increased in both groups after intervention,and the scores in observation group were higher than those in conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of self-management efficacy in the two groups were increased,and the scores in observation group were higher than those in conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of cancer fatigue scale in both groups were decreased,and the scores were lower in observation group compared to conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of quality of life questionnaire were increased in both groups,and the scores in observation group were higher compared with those in conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Bio-psycho-social medicine model nursing can significantly improve the negative emotions,enhance the self-acceptance and self-efficacy,improve the symptoms of cancer-related fatigue,and then enhance the quality of life in patients with advanced colon cancer chemotherapy.
