Expression and Prognostic Value of sTREM-1,IL-6 and miR-183 in Patients with Acute Exacerbation of COPD
Objective To investigate the expression and prognostic assessment value of soluble triggering receptor-1 expressed on myeloid cells(sTREM-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),and microRNAs-183(miR-183)in patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods Eighty-five patients with acute exacerbation of COPD admitted to General Hospital of Anyang Iron & Steel Group Co.,LTD.from January 2019 to May 2023 were retrospectively selected as the observation group, and 88 patients with stable COPD were selected at the same time, and they were taken as the control group.Serum sTREM-1,IL-6 and plasma miR-183 levels were detected in all study subjects.According to the survival of the observation group after 1 year of follow-up,the group was divided into survival group and death group.Serum sTREM-1,IL-6,plasma miR-183 levels of different groups were compared.Cox regression analysis was performed to analyze the factors influencing survival time of patients with acute exacerbation of COPD.The prognostic value of the combined detection of each index in COPD acute exacerbation was analyzed. Results Patients in the observation group had higher levels of each indicator than those in the control group(P<0.05).Those in the death group had higher levels of each indicator than those in the survival group(P<0.05).sTREM-1,IL-6 and plasma miR-183 were risk factors affecting acute exacerbation of COPD,and the area under the curve(AUC)values of the three combined to predict the prognosis of acute exacerbation of COPD were higher than those of a single test(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum sTREM-1,IL-6 and plasma miR-183 levels were highly expressed in COPD exacerbation patients, and the combined predictive value of the three is good, which can be used as an auxiliary reference basis for clinical assessment of the prognosis of COPD exacerbation patients.
