Predictive Value of Serum VEGF Expression in the Occurrence of Placental Abruption in Patients with Severe Preeclampsia
Objective To analyze the relationship between serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)expression and placental abruption in severe preeclampsia patients, and to explore its predictive value for the occurrence of placental abruption in patients. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with severe preeclampsia admitted to Department of Obstetrics of Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jiaozuo from January 2020 to January 2023.The expression of VEGF was detected on admission, and the placental abruption was examined at 28 weeks of gestation, and the occurrence of placental abruption was counted. The relationship between VEGF expression and placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia was analyzed. At the same time, the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to analyze the predictive value of serum VEGF expression on the occurrence of placental abruption in severe preeclampsia patients. Results Among the 100 patients with severe preeclampsia,17 cases had placental abruption, accounting for 17.00%(17/100),83 cases did not occur placental abruptionr, accounting for 83.00%(83/100).The serum VEGF levels of patients in the occurrence group were higher than those in the non-occurrence group(P<0.05).Through point binary correlation analysis, the expression of serum VEGF was positively correlated with the occurrence of placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia(r>0,P<0.05).The ROC curve was plotted, and the results showed that the area under the curve of serum VEGF expression predicting the occurrence of placental abruption in severe preeclampsia patients was greater than 0.7,which had certain predictive value. Conclusion The expression of serum VEGF is related to the occurrence of placental abruption in patients with severe preeclampsia, and can predict the risk of placental abruption.
