Application of Quyu Fuyuan Formula Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Hot Pressing in Postoperative Patients with Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
Objective To explore the efficacy of Quyu Fuyuan Formula combined with traditional Chinese medicine hot pressing in the treatment of postoperative patients with lumbar spinal stenosis(LSS).Methods Sixty LSS patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from May 2021 to October 2022 were included.The patients were divided into control group(30 cases,Quyu Fuyuan Formula)and observation group(30 cases,Quyu Fuyuan Formula+traditional Chinese medicine hot pressing)by random number table method,and the treatment lasted for 3 months.The clinical efficacy,pain degree,Japanese orthopaedic association scores(JOA),and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment in observation group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pain level in observation group was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05),and the JOA score in observation group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment,there was no statistical difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Quyu Fuyuan Formula and traditional Chinese medicine hot pressing has a good clinical effect on postoperative patients with LSS,which can alleviate the degree of pain,improve lumbar function,and do not increase adverse reactions.
