Effects of Health Education Based on Knowledge-Attitude-Practice Model on Mental Resilience and Self-care Ability in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure
Objective To explore the nursing effect of health education based on knowledge-attitude-practice model on patients with chronic heart failure.Methods A total of 104 patients with chronic heart failure in Henan Chest Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,52 patients in each group.The control group was given routine health education,and the observation group was received health education under the mode of knowledge-attitude-practice on this basis.The intervention time was 3 months.Connor-davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)was used to evaluate the level of mental resilience,self-care ability was evaluated by exercise of self-care agency scale(ESCA),and nursing satisfaction was evaluated after health education.Results After health education,the scores of CD-RISC in all dimensions(including tenacity,self-reliance and optimism)were increased in both groups,and the scores in observation group were higher(P<0.05).The scores of ESC A in all dimensions(including self-concept,responsibility,self-care skills and health knowledge)were increased in both groups,and the scores in observation group were higher(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction score of observation group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Receiving health education under the mode of knowledge-attitude-practice can promote mental resilience and self-care ability,which is beneficial to disease control and prognosis of patients with chronic heart failure.
