Clinical Effect of Psychological Intervention Based on Cognitive Evaluation Theory of Stress in Prostate Cancer Patients
Objective To explore the clinical effect of psychological intervention based on cognitive evaluation theory of stress for prostate cancer patients.Methods A total of 92 patients with prostate cancer admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to May 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group(46 cases each)according to nursing methods.The control group was given routine psychological intervention,and the observation group was given psychological intervention based on cognitive evaluation theory of stress.The emotional state[hospital anxiety and depression scale(HADS)],social support intensity[social support rating scale(SSRS)],stress perception[Chinese version of perceived stress scale(CPSS)],coping style[medical coping modes questionnaire(MCMQ)]and incidence of toxic and side effects were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the scores of HAD-A,HAD-D and CPSS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the scores of SSRS and MCMQ were higher than those in the control group,and the score of negative coping was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of toxic and side effects in the observation group was[13.04%(6/46)]compared with the control group[10.87%(5/46)],and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention based on cognitive evaluation theory of stress can improve the negative psychological state of prostate cancer patients,enhance their social support,and promote patients to adopt positive coping methods to cope with the disease,which is conducive to improving the quality of life of patients.
