Research on the Impact of Electronic Health Literacy of Elderly Couples on Self-perceived Aging Based on the Subject-Object Interdependence Model
Objective Based on the subject-object interdependence model of paired sample data, this paper explored the subject-object model of electronic health literacy and self-perceived aging of elderly couples. Methods The elderly and their spouses(248 pairs in total)who had physical examination in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research objects, and the general data questionnaire, the abbreviated version of self-perceived aging scale(B-APQ)and the electronic health literacy scale were used to investigate,so as to establish the subject-object interdependence model of e-health literacy on self-perceived aging. Results The score of e-health literacy was 22.72±6.12,and the score of self-perceived aging was 49.49±7.42.The results of correlation analysis showed that e-health literacy of the elderly was negatively correlated with self-perceived aging and all dimensions.Husbands'e-health literacy scores were 22.73±6.20,husbands'self-perceived aging scores were 49.77±6.85,wives'e-health literacy scores were 22.71±6.05,wives'self-perceived aging scores were 49.20±7.95.The results of correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the e-health literacy of wives and husbands. At the subject effect level, the wife's e-health literacy was significantly negatively correlated with self-perceived aging, while the husband's e-health literacy was significantly negatively correlated with self-perceived aging. At the object effect level,wives'e-health literacy was significantly negatively correlated with husbands'self-perceived aging, and husbands'e-health literacy was significantly negatively correlated with wives'self-perceived aging.Based on the sactor partner interdependence model, the electronic health literacy of elderly couples significantly positively and negatively predicts their own self-perceived aging(subject effect),and also significantly and negatively predicts the spouse's self-perceived aging(object effect). The path coefficient of the husband's electronic health literacy on his own self-perceived aging was-0.561(P<0.001),and the path coefficient of the wife's electronic health literacy on his own self-perceived aging was-0.702(P<0.001);the effect of the husband's electronic health literacy on the wife's self-perceived aging The path coefficient of the influence of perceived aging was-0.161(P<0.05),and the path coefficient of the influence of wife's electronic health literacy on husband's self-perceived aging was-0.144(P<0.05).Conclusion The electronic health literacy and self-perceived aging of elderly couples have subject-object interdependence. This interdependence not only manifests as an obvious subject effect, but also exhibits a certain object effect.
