Influencing Factors and Countermeasures of Self-efficacy in Diabetic Patients
Objective To explore the influencing factors affecting the self-efficacy of diabetic patients, and to provide scientific basis for health management to formulate intervention strategies. Methods A cross-sectional study was used to select 200 patients with diabetes who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from July 2020 to April 2023 as the subjects of this study, and they were divided into a poor efficacy group(68 cases)and a good efficacy group(132 cases)by using the chronic disease self-efficacy scale.General information questionnaire, chronic disease self-efficacy questionnaire, diabetes knowledge questionnaire, diabetes distress scale, social support rating scale and other survey tools were used to analyze them. Results There were significant differences in age, disease cognition, pain scale and social support between the two groups(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that lack of disease cognition, high pain scale score, low social support and old age were independent risk factors for diabetic self-efficacy(P<0.05).Conclusion Lack of disease cognition, high pain scale score, low social support and old age are independent risk factors for diabetic self-efficacy.Nursing staff should strengthen the knowledge related to the disease of patients, adjust their psychological state, encourage their families to give support and comfort, and pay close attention to the changes of vital signs of elderly patients,so as to improve the level of self-efficacy of diabetic patients.
