Influences of Ultrasound Drug Introduction Combined with Lumbar Muscle Training on Rehabilitation Effect in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation
Objective To explore the influences of ultrasound drug introduction combined with lumbar and abdominal core muscle strength training on rehabilitation effect in patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods A total of 122 patients with LDH in Shangqiu First People's Hospital were enrolled from January 2021 to December 2022.They were divided into observation group(61 cases)and control group(61 cases)according to the random numble table method. The control group was given lumbar and abdominal core muscle strength training, while observation group was additionally given ultrasound drug introduction. The rehabilitation effect, lumbar function, muscle strength of lumbar muscle groups, pain and inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups. Results The total response rate of rehabilitation in observation group(93.44%)was higher than that in control group(80.33%)(P<0.05).After treatment, score of Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA),muscle strength of right flexion, left flexion, right rotation, left rotation, rear protraction and anterior flexion in observation group were higher than that in control group, and score of Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),score of visual analogue scale(VAS),levels of serum substance P(SP),prostaglandin E2(PGE2),interleukin-1 β(IL-1 β),C-reactive protein(CRP)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound drug introduction combined with lumbar and abdominal core muscle strength training can improve rehabilitation effect in LDH patients, promote the recovery of lumbar function and muscle strength of lumbar muscle groups, relieve pain and inflammatory response.
